Sedation dentistry is a wonderful way to get you the dental work done you need, the smile you deserve in comfortable way. Whether you have fear of needles, fear of dentists, fear of pain, or "...novocaine just never works on me..." You may be a great candidate for sedation dentistry.
How it works? Pretty much we have a protocol which starts 24 hours prior your appointment, then we give you a pill to take home and pills to take to the office. We wait until you're comfortable enough and then do your dentistry in a calm and easy manner. During the whole procedure you are monitored to assure your safety. Usually the appointments last anywhere between 2-6 hours, so your dental needs can be met within as few visits as possible.
The drugs we are using are in general benzodiazepines (valium based) drugs.
