Thanks to my experience in oral surgery, I feel comfortable to perform any extraction. You can expect to be comfortable during the procedure. If you are one of many people who have problem with local anesthetic (novocaine) we know just what to do. We may need to administer oral sedation for you. That is safe way to get you comfortable and assure that the local anesthetic will work for you.
Before you have your tooth extracted please take all the medication (if applicable) as you take every day. Do not worry about aspirin and blood clotting. The only medication which we may need to adjust is coumadin (warfarin). If you take this drug, please talk to me before the procedure.
You need to eat your breakfast or lunch. Do not be worried about getting sick. People experience more problems if they are on empty stomach then if they eat. If you have any question please call me or Kristy at 924-4050.
